  20. This memo defines a portion of the Management Information Base (MIB)
  21. for use with network management protocols in TCP/IP-based internets.
  22. In particular, it defines objects for managing ethernet-like objects.

  24. This memo is an extension to the SNMP MIB.  This RFC specifies a
  25. Proposed Standard Protocol for the Internet community, and requests
  26. discussion and suggestions for improvements.  Please refer to the
  27. current edition of the "IAB Official Protocol Standards" for the
  28. standardization state and status of this protocol.  Distribution of
  29. this memo is unlimited.
